The site setup and its location in a major urban renewal project have led us to build three federating equipments facing onto the street, which are share with the non-academic public : the library, the gymnasium and the main auditorium.
The distribution of the available space into plots in the city center creates a space that is both protected and open to the district.
To the east, the monumental façade of the teaching building closes the site and acts as the show piece that can be seen from the ring road. To the west, the lowest level of the library matches the scale of the garden planted in the central internal space, while its façade is entirely made of glass towards the rue F. de Croisset and is open to passers-by.
